Build a Repeatable Calm Routine

Nerves often grow when the practical details feel uncertain. Confirm the time, route, meeting link and documents early. Prepare short evidence notes and practise aloud. Familiarity reduces the number of decisions you need to make on the day.

Before the interview, slow your breathing and place both feet firmly on the floor. Listen to the full question. Pause before answering. A brief pause looks thoughtful and gives you time to choose the right example.

Recover When an Answer Goes Wrong

You can correct yourself. Say that you would like to clarify the point, then give the shorter answer. One weak moment does not decide the whole interview. Return your attention to the next question.
