What to Negotiate Beyond Base Salary
Housing allowance. Negotiating an extra 2,000 AED per month adds 24,000 AED annually.
Education allowance. Worth $10,000-$35,000 per year per child.
Flight tickets. For a family of four, annual flights can be worth $5,000-$15,000.
Basic salary ratio. Push for 60% or higher as basic salary. This directly increases your gratuity payout.
