Who we are
Our website address is: https://inspireambitions.com
Email newsletters, toolkits and career updates
Short version: we email you what you asked for, you can unsubscribe at any time, and we do not sell your subscriber data.
Inspire Ambitions, operated by Kim Kiyingi, is the data controller for information submitted through our site forms. For privacy requests, controller contact details, or privacy-rights questions, use our contact page. When you request the UAE and Gulf Hospitality Career Toolkit, a newsletter, a free tool result, or a related career update, we collect the information shown on that form, such as your name, email address and consent confirmation.
We only ask for the information needed to send what you requested and manage your subscription safely.
We rely on your consent as the lawful basis for sending marketing emails. We use this information to send the resource you requested and occasional Inspire Ambitions career emails. Resend is the email delivery and audience management provider we use for newsletters, toolkit delivery, consent records, bounces, suppression and unsubscribes. These systems process information on our behalf so we can manage subscriptions, consent evidence, delivery, bounces, suppression and unsubscribes.
We will share the current email delivery/SMTP provider name with anyone who asks through the contact page. Provider processing locations may vary. If a provider processes data outside your country, transfer safeguards may apply depending on that provider and your location; details are available on request.
We keep a record of when and how you subscribed, such as the form or source and consent status, as proof of consent. We keep active subscriber data until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, we close the relevant list, or we remove inactive records where appropriate. We do not use this email list for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
We may use basic email validation, bounce cleanup, suppression lists and disposable-email checks to protect deliverability and avoid sending to people who should not receive messages. We do not sell or rent our subscriber list, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing unless you separately consent to that sharing. Providers processing information on our behalf are service processors, not third parties using the list for their own marketing, and subscriber information may also be disclosed where required by law. Where other sections of this policy describe processors for site operations, such as comments or embeds, those sections apply to those features only.
You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. We may keep limited suppression records only as long as necessary to honour unsubscribe requests, avoid re-adding addresses that should not receive marketing emails, and protect deliverability.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or object to the use of your personal information, and to complain to a relevant supervisory authority. Use the contact page to make a rights request.
Career and labour-law information on Inspire Ambitions is general informational content, not legal advice, and does not create an adviser-client relationship. For legal-impact questions, check official government sources or speak with a qualified adviser.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitorโs IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
