When you ask for AI-written message ideas, Cake Day Gifts sends recipient name, relationship when available, tone, locale, and your optional message brief over HTTPS to the backend, then to Anthropic Claude. You can decline and keep using the app without AI.
Consent first: the first AI request explains what is sent.
No auto-send: you stay in control of every birthday message.
Less noise: phone number, email, photo, age, gift preference, and raw notes are not sent for the AI message feature.
